As I attended the event, I went in having a couple of things in mind. I was looking for opportunities and comparing my plans to where the market was. This event exhibited a stew of vendors in the IT department, from Amazon, HP to Verizon. Everyone was selling now their own version of the same product and service, and not with any specific advantage or differentiation from each other.

At first I was excited looking at the companies lined up displaying their LCD screens with demos, giving away products and using scheme marketing techniques to lure people into their brand. After walking around for a few minutes and taking a couple of fliers, I took a step back saw what was going on. I began to realize the market has fallen behind on qualified representatives who have knowledgeable expertise of the field.

Then I realized why all this was. First, sales jobs always employee temps, and ones who follow guide lines barely. Next was that the real guys are on top where the real competitions is. And that’s where it hit me, their products were displayed and competitions was very relaxed, from the lack of innovation, dynamic business solutions and future service guarantees.

There was none but one company that just caught my interest. And that was Clearwire Corporation (Clearwire will give you faster internet at home, at work and on the go, so that people everywhere will have the magic of the internet with them all the time).

But it was not only their services that interested me, it was what you could do with those services. Apart from leasing their networks to Sprint and Verizon for 4G and LTE signals; Clearwire operates it’s sales-force under its own brand, so the huge plus in that is they provide their signals as OEM as well.

So if you have an ideas/opportunity for a fantastic business plan, brand and image development you can take this OEM service. Bundle it with a product and grab your own share of the amazing and hugely booming market. I believe that there is a ton of potential with this type of company. All it takes is the right research to develop what can work; And from there it’s a cake.
